I received my first camera as a college graduation gift.  I enjoyed taking pictures, especially the weird angle shots and the candids of my friends.  All through the following years, I felt that the images I made could be better.  In whatever place  I happened to be living at the time, I would seek out the local camera club and listen to the other members and pit my images against theirs in the local competitions.  All the while, I felt there should be more.

        Finally, I gathered my courage and enrolled in night courses in Photography Technology at the local community college.  I took only one course each semester as I was working full-time during the day.  I gained the knowledge to set up my own darkroom and do my own developing and printing.  I received the encouragement to put my images before the public.  I found out that I could create art with my camera.  And I did earn a certificate in Photography Technology.

        So, here are some of my images.  I hope you enjoy viewing them and that they might strike a cord inside you as they did me.
